Once the Universal Ink Monitor is installed a small program asks which printer is to be monitored. It will then adjust the registry to save the spool files for this printer.
There is a seperate folder created off the install folder as a tempory storage for these files. After they have been used for calculation they are deleted. The Windows system deletes them normally.
Another thing you will notice is that a striped colour icon sits down in the right bar. this is Trigger.exe. this application senses a printer output and "Triggers" the program Usage*.exe which calculates usage and makes adjustments.
There are hotkeys that can bring up the display program.
alt c Removes Trigger.exe and stops the monitoring till next boot
alt i Display and adjustment
